What Is Color Therapy?

In the modern world color therapy is one of psychotherapy sections. There is a great variety of methods of color influence. Color therapy can be conducted in a form of color relaxation. This influence is made by means of suggestion of the psychotherapist. The person is immersed in an easy trance and a color atmosphere in which the patient feels comfortable is recreated.

Red – a color of action. It stimulates a brain sub cortex, and directly cells of a cerebral cortex. Dark blue is an antipode to the red. It almost completely breaks any activity. Lowers pressure, temperature. Reduces working activity. Possesses lulling effect.

Blue – dark blue with white. This color possesses calming effect too, but not so strong, as dark blue. Actually blue is not considered a color. It is often used for registration of office premises since it helps to gather thoughts, concentrate and extinguishes emotions.

Violet is the most braking color from all color scale. Its long influence on the person is fraught with the occurrence of constant feeling of weariness.

Gray, black, brown are depressive colors. In no event it is impossible to apply in the decoration of premises, especially, if except these colors there are no others. Even if you like these colors very much, try to dilute with their bright stains. Sofa pillows or vases.
